PLEK is a process that measures the guitar neck, levels the frets, and individually adjusts the neck curvature and string action. In addition to electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and basses, we also PLEK mandolins, 6-string banjos, and resonator guitars. Every guitarist has their own playing style, which is why the requirements for optimal string action also vary. We discuss together what bothers you and what you want. The PLEK machine then measures and corrects any unevenness in each individual fret so that you get a perfect result.

Our Plek machine mills the frets to the desired height with enormous precision (accurate to 1/100 of a millimeter): “As low as possible without the string buzzing when played.”
